Course Description
The Photographers Workshop is a fun, information-packed, nine week online course filled with lessons, assignments and photographic insight, all geared towards having you taking better pictures in no time at all. The course is designed to teach you how to better see those 'everyday moments' and how to document them in a photograph. It includes the technical, the creative and the personal aspects of photography all in one class.

Course FAQ
Where are the workshops held?
The workshops are held online.

How long is the course?
The course runs online for nine weeks, plus a one week intermission midway through.

How much photography experience should I have to take this course?
The class is geared towards beginner to intermediate photographers, therefore you don't need to have any photography experience to participate.

What kind of a camera do I need?
It is recommended that you have a digital SLR camera for the class. (Point-and-shoot style cameras are not recommended.)

How often will new lessons be posted?
Five new lessons are posted each Monday so you can read one a day (Monday-Friday) or you can fit them in whenever your schedule allows. (Each lesson is filled with visuals and will be available in both written and audio formats.)

Will there be assignments?
Yes, there will be a new assignment posted each Monday throughout the course. Your assignments will be evaluated and commented on by the instructor. (That's me!)

What if I have questions throughout the course?
There is a Question & Answer board available for all of your questions.

Can I have any of my photos critiqued?
Yes, you will be able to upload a total of three photos to the Photo Critique Board for instructor review and feedback.

Can I share any of the photos I've taken throughout the course?
Yes, there is a Picture of the Day board where you can post some of your favorite photos to share with your classmates.

Do I have to be available at a certain time each day to log onto the site?
No, you do not have to be online at a certain time to participate in the class. You can log onto the site at your convenience to read lessons, view assignments and participate on any area of the forum.

How much will the instructor be participating in class?
This is NOT the kind of class where lessons and assignments are posted and students are on their own to complete the course. I will be on the board and available for questions Monday thru Friday. I'm going to be there to walk you through all of this stuff for nine weeks.

What if I need to access the course information after the class is over?
You will have access to the course information for one year following the completion of the class.

How much does it cost?
The course fee is $395.00 USD (for full class participation) or $245USD (to audit the class without instructor evaluation on assignments and photo critiques)
